A Message from Director

Dear Friends,

When we opened our barn doors in January 1985, we didn't expect to have such a long run. Thanks to you - our patrons, donors, and enthusiastic culture devotees - we're still here! So let's celebrate! This September, we'll have three days of festivities featuring musical moments from our past 25 years.

Our last event in December 2009, Plaid Tidings, was a rousing success and played to sold-out audiences. We'll usher 2010 in with an eclectic mix of jazz, Irish, flamenco, and classical music. Once again, we'll celebrate women's contribution in poetry and prose, as well as Chopin's intimate letters to family and lovers, plus the play ART, which explores the contemporary art scene (a benefit to establish an art scholarship in St. Helena schools in Ira Wolk's name). The Ramblin' Recks from Georgia Tech will even send their Male Glee Club to entertain us.

Thank you for your tremendous support of The White Barn. I hope you will be as energized as I by the artistry of our 25th season.
