Amour, Amour

The program will explore unrequited love and loves fulfilled including music by Mozart, Corigliano, Puccini, Janacek, and Clara Schumann. The Fellows of the Orchestra Institute of Napa Valley will present an intimate concert of music paired with Tcho chocolate and wine.

David Correa & Cascada

This Bay Area band lives up to its name as a 'waterfall' of exuberant influences - Nuevo Flamenco, Latin folk, Afro- Cuban and Middle Eastern melodies with spicy Gypsy guitar solos and foot and soul moving Latin Rhythms.

Hot Fritattas

The Hot Frittatas, Gus Garelick (violin and mandolin), Dennis Hadley (accordion), Don Coffin (guitar) and Gail Sharpsteen (cello), specialize in romantic Italian and French cafe music.  But don't be lulled into thinking they are just about a quiet cup of cappuccino and a pastry.  One reviewer wrote that they play a "tasty concoction of classical and contemporary roots music from Spain, Italy, France, Sicily, Argentina, Venezuela and Mexico. Waltzes, tangos, polkas, musettes, tarantellas and marches performed with expertise, equanimity, style and vivacity." They have been called “Northern California’s liveliest ensemble for European and International café music.” They've appeared all across the West, on various radio programs (including NPR), produced three CDs, and written music for “The Bachelor” TV series.

Joe Galambos & Guest Performer

Joe Galambos is a recipient of a master’s degree in Guitar Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Galambos has spent more than a dozen years as a performer and educator in the San Francisco Bay Area and is recognized for his technical ability and beautiful lyricism his repertoire spans Spanish, Classical and Progressive to Rock and Blues. With an unconventional witty repartee with his audience, Galambos has the unique ability to create an intimate upbeat atmosphere. He will be joined by guest, Rachelle Davis, violinist.  The chair of the PUC school of music, she will be performing some classical pieces with Galambos, such as the Vivaldi concerto in D and Celtic music from Ireland and Scotland.

Step Right Up

The Fellows of the Orchestral Institute of Napa Valley will create an interactive “Musical Circus Adventure” for the young and the young at heart. The event will be held outside on the White Barn’s lawn; bring low lawn chairs or a blanket. Through the musical masters Saint-Saens, Rossini, Prokofiev, Strass, Berlioz, Sarasate and Francaix the audience will experience an introduction to instruments, instrument families, and basic musical concepts through a fun exploration of the circus!

Ever wanted to touch a flute? Play a violin? Blow into a trombone? You will have the chance with the instrument “petting zoo” that follows the show. Free popcorn and lemonade plus an art project for children. The Fellows are musicians in residence at the Performing Arts Center at Lincoln Theater.

Celia Ramsay & Luxury Edition

Chanteuse Celia Ramsay and her band, Luxury Edition, are coming to the White Barn with a trove of classic jazz standards and originals about love lost—and found in unexpected places. With Tony Marcus on guitar, Patrice Haan on vocals, Jeff Sanford on reeds and Daniel Fabricant on bass, you’ll savor Celia’s taste for music that captures the perspective of what she sardonically calls a “woman of a certain age”—dark and honest, silly and bawdy, sultry and sublime.

Tom Montgomery & Montango

Tom Montgomery and MonTango will present an outdoor concert at the White Barn. MonTango is the Bay Area’s premier tango ensemble. Founded ten years ago by bandoneon, Tom Montgomery, the group has performed in Europe, South America and throughout the U.S. With equal emphasis on the music and the dance, the group presents the excitement and passion of this magic cultural treasure from Argentina.

The excitement of young love and the confusion of growing up (or is it the other way around?) are explored in this intimate revue from one of the most respected teams in the contemporary musical theatre, Richard Maltby, Jr. and David Shire (Baby, Big).

Using songs from their various early musicals (produced or otherwise), this bold, extroverted journey takes a winsome cast of three through the maze of modern relationships with its heart firmly on its sleeve. The Heath Family Saga

Ancestral history of the white barn

The Heath Family Saga, a one man show with Michael Waterson. The Heath Family lived in a Victorian home on the property. The carriage house (the White Barn) housed their carriages and horses.

Michael Waterson has performed at the White Barn many times for almost 30 years with Irish band Kith & Kin and in many other shows and readings. Mike is an editor for Napa Valley Publishing and works in the tasting room of Burgess Cellars winery. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa 100 years to the month after William Whittingham Lyman, Sr., Mike is a poet like Lyman, Jr. and was Napa’s Poet Laureate 2010-11.
