Bazoin
This new play by screenwriter Gerald Di Pego (“Phenomenon” with John Travolta, “Angel Eyes” with Jennifer Lopez, “The Forgotten” with Julianne Moore, and most recently “Words and Pictures” with Clive Owen and Juliette Binoche), stars former valley resident Christopher Rydman. It’s a funny and poignant look at that wonderful and often painful lifetime parade known as family. The story takes place in a kitchen in 1975, with arguments, laughter, and, of course, those ghosts from the past who are always with us. According to playwright Di Pego, “it is both fictional and inspired by my memories. It is about what a struggle love can be, and how the struggle is worth it.”(Secure Site)

Napa Valley Duo
Combining the versatility of pianist Terry Winn and the virtuosity of cellist Jeffrey McFarland-Johnson, Napa Valley Duo offers a repertoire that encompasses classical, jazz, and opera, with many pieces never before performed in a cello/piano format. True to their mutual love of the music of Paris from 1880-1915, Winn and McFarland-Johnson present their program as a French-inspired soirée, with an emphasis on musical immediacy in an informal setting. Join us for a convivial afternoon featuring opera arias, classical repertoire, Gershwin and jazz. Dear White Barn.....Your check arrived yesterday and is on it's way to Get on the Bus in L.A.
It certainly is not small, and useful yes! I personally want to thank you. When I accompany one small child and witness just one painful but loving union with their mother, I thank people like you.
Sincerely, Joan
Peter and the Wolf: Family-Friendly Concert on the Lawn
Bring your kids and grandkids and enjoy this outdoor presentation of Sergei Prokofiev's beguiling children's symphony, performed by the AIR Ensemble, Lincoln Theater's artists in residency. In the first outdoor concert of our 30th anniversary season, the White Barn invites you and your family to hear 10 musicians perform "Peter and the Wolf," Prokofiev's musical adventure that has become a guide to the orchestra for young people. Narrator Ian Scarfe will relate how the composer spins a tale of a boy who catches a wolf with the help of his farm-animal friends, using specific musical themes for each character.
Lemonade and popcorn will be served, and kids will be encouraged to create masks to wear during the afternoon. Bring lawn chairs and blankets to spread out on the grass. After the concert, aspiring musicians of all ages will have the opportunity to try out the instruments they heard in the performance at a hands-on instrument "petting zoo."
This is a one-performance-only engagement, so don't miss your chance to introduce young ears to the joy of classical music. And you can bring a bunch with our special rate of $30 per family (up to five people, including children, parents, grandparents, or other guardians).

Algonquin Round Table
Dorothy Goes to Hollywood: It's 1934. Having reigned as the Queen of Quips at the Algonquin Hotel's Round Table for more than a decade, Dorothy Parker sets out on her next conquest: Tinseltown. But not without some nostalgia for her fellow wits and wisecrackers, Robert Benchley, Alexander Woolcott, Franklin Pierce Adams, Edna Ferber, and (yes) Harpo Marx. This look back inspires her to recreate scenes from the heyday of the Round Table and its cast of characters, whose bon mots and witticisms still crackle and sparkle with a truly American style of humor.Postponed because of Valley Fire. Will reschedule in 2016
